yes it's very good. I can see a lot of that in Jens Lekman

There was this girl I was friends with for the longest time and I wanted it to be more and I guess she was oblivious to me feeling this. This does have purpose.

I've always meant to check out Jens Lekman but never got to it because um yeah previous statement was really into him. Only girl I've ever cried for, excessively, while listening to Mogwai in the shower. The drawn out winters can be tough. She did snap my brittle heart in two. I think she's married now. Same age as me, 18-19. Nothing wrong with that I guess

And an apology goes out as well, I probably should have said this in the other blog seeing as it has nothing to do with purchases.

Except now. Recently I bought some Pulp so I'm drowning everything out with Jarvis Cocker's brit pop

wasn't one of the instructions from gremlins that you should never get your mogwai wet?

yes, I believe it was. Looks like I'm going to need Gizmo to tie the red shoestring around his forehead and go rambo on all the spawns

I'm off CD shopping on Sunday, but the last couple of cds I bought were:

Micah P Hinson & The Red Empire Orchestra: brilliant, 'We Won't Have To Be Lonesome', 'Sunrise Over Olympus Mons' and 'When We Embrace' are all sublime.

Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes: left me a bit cold, and I was really expecting to like it :? .

I bought Lykke Li's album, and the new Joan As Policewoman record 'To Survive', but I haven't really listened to them yet.

Having a bit of a Swedish Moment of late - recent purchases include - The Acid House Kings, Club 8, Laurel Music and the fantastic Shout out Louds, whom I had the pleasure of seeing live at Camden a few weeks ago - fantastic live gig - anyone going to the Clubfandango gigs in September (which incidently feature the wonderful LUCKY SOUL) might be lucky enough to catch them. Also managed to sucessfully win a bidding contest on ebay for a rare 80's album by the River Detectives (showing my age there im afraid!) - havent got it yet but can't wait till it arrives!!

recently bought Hercules and Love Affair. It's really good dance music. That is if you are into an infused kinda 70's funk sound

I spent 172 american dollars at amoeba last weekend. Lots of Brit Pop I didn't have physical copies of.

red house painters, low, some other cool stuff.

oh and The Go! team's debut. That album is cool--I sound like I'm in middle school.

I keep meaning to get more low albums.

I bought the Mark Kozelek solo album the other day - the one where he does stripped down acoustic versions of AC/DC songs. Very nice. Also, someone recommended Sun Kil Moon to me, but I haven't had a chance to listen to them yet.

The new CSS is slammin! Haha.

I saw them recently w/ the Go Team! opening in Philly last month. Amazing sets from both sides.

Uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...................

I recently got a bunch of old & new Descendents albums. They're amazing! I have no idea why I got rid of my old copy of "Everything Sucks."

That I reccomend to everyone on the board to pick up!

Oooo I also highly reccomend the self-titled album by Prototypes. If you like CSS you'll definitely dig them. Similiar sound but from France.
